Oscar Ho Hing-kay was curatorial director of the Hong Kong Arts Centre (1988–2001), founding director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai (2004–2005), and a member of the West Kowloon Cultural District’s Museum Advisory Group, which was responsible for the original curatorial concept of Hong Kong visual cultural space M+. Ho’s writings have appeared in Artforum, ArtAsiaPacific, Orientations, Newsweek, and many Hong Kong news publications. He has served on Asia Art Archive’s board of directors since 2001.
